Answers to the questions we get most often, grouped by topic.

Plans and pricing

How does the 30-day trial work?

For 30 days you use the full version of the plan you picked, with no limits. No credit card, no automatic renewal. If you like it, you pay and you stay. If not, you simply do not renew.

How do I pick the right plan?

You pick a plan based on three things: the traffic you expect, the number of WordPress sites you want to run, and any features from the higher plans you need, such as Redis or a bigger pool of workers. The visit numbers listed with each plan are only a reference point, and going over them does not block your site. If you are not sure, write to us and we will match a plan to your project. You can change plans at any time.

Will the price go up after the first year?

The renewal price always matches our price list, with no hidden first-year promotions. We do not tempt you with a lower rate only to move you to the standard price after a year, the way many competitors do. You buy at the price shown in the price list and the level stays the same.

Can I switch plans during the term?

Yes, at any time. You can move up to a higher plan, where we charge only the difference in proportion to the time left, or down to a lower one, where the overpayment stays on your account as credit. No penalties, no long-term commitments.

What is the difference between WordPress Hosting and Premium Hosting?

Both products give you dedicated CPU and RAM and full site separation, with one key difference. WordPress Hosting means several sites on one account, each with its own CPU and RAM limit: 1.5 vCPU and 1.5 GB RAM by default, and from the wpStarter plan up to 3 vCPU and 3 GB RAM for a chosen site. Premium Hosting is built for 1 site and starts where the WordPress line ends, from 4 vCPU and 4 GB RAM, and on the higher plans it gives the site 100% of the server resources with no vCPU limit. Ideal for large WooCommerce stores, LMS platforms and high-traffic portals.

What if I go over the recommended number of visits?

Nothing bad happens, going over the recommended number of unique visits will not block your site. Figures such as ~10k or ~60k are only a reference point when picking a plan with the right resources. If your site starts using more on a regular basis, we will suggest a higher plan, but we never cut traffic off without warning.

Can I host several sites on one plan?

Yes, every WordPress Hosting plan covers 1 to 25 sites depending on the plan: wpMini takes 1, wpAgency takes 25. All the sites share the CPU and RAM pool assigned to your account, with full separation between them, so a failure on one does not affect the others.

What if I need more than 3 vCPU for a single site?

On WordPress Hosting a single site can use up to 3 vCPU. If you run a large WooCommerce store or a demanding site that needs 4, 8 or 12 vCPU for one instance, look at Premium Hosting. We lift the 3 vCPU limit there and the site gets 100% of the server resources.

Migration

How does the free migration work?

You register an account → you give us access to your current hosting → our team moves your site and your mail within 24 to 48 hours of the request. No downtime, no data loss. You do nothing apart from changing the DNS at the end, and we can do that for you too.

How long does a migration take?

A standard migration happens within 24 to 48 hours of handing over the access details. Larger stores with big product catalogues can take longer, so we agree a time individually, in the evening or at the weekend if needed, to avoid clashing with your customer traffic.

Will there be downtime during the migration?

Practically none. Your site keeps running on the old hosting the whole time, until DNS points at our server. For your visitors the difference is at most a few seconds during DNS propagation.

Do you move email as well?

Yes, we synchronise the mailboxes over IMAP 1:1, together with the site. You do not lose a single message.

Can you migrate from any hosting provider?

Yes, we move sites from any Polish or foreign hosting: cPanel, DirectAdmin, Plesk and managed panels such as Kinsta or WPEngine. If the setup is unusual, we look at the case before the migration.

Do you migrate WordPress Multisite installations?

Yes, we move WordPress Multisite installations too. The process is the same as for a regular site: you give us access to your current hosting and we take care of the rest.

When can a migration be impossible?

In rare cases, for example when a site has not been updated for years and does not run correctly on the supported PHP versions. We then review the site and propose a solution, such as a paid modernisation, so it can run safely in a modern environment.

What do I need to prepare for the migration?

All we need are the access details to your current hosting, meaning the panel or FTP plus the database. If we are moving email too, we will need a list of mailboxes with their passwords, and for a domain transfer the registrar details. We handle the rest.

Domains

How do I register a domain?

The easiest way is while you set up your account, since you can add a new domain during registration. You can also do it at any time from the client panel. See domain pricing →

How do I transfer an existing domain to JDM?

You need the AuthInfo code, the transfer code, from your current registrar. You enter it in the panel and we take care of the rest. The transfer takes 5 to 7 days, which is a NASK requirement for .pl domains.

How much does a domain cost?

Popular domains: .pl from 20 PLN a year, roughly €4.5, .com from 60 PLN a year, roughly €13.6, and .eu from 25 PLN a year, roughly €5.7, at 4.4 PLN/EUR. The full price list with renewals and transfers is on the domain pricing page.

Is the technical domain free?

Yes, every hosting plan comes with a free technical domain (in the format yourname.jdmsite.com), where you can test the site before you move the DNS.

What is DNS propagation and how long does it take?

DNS propagation is how information about the new server address spreads once you change the domain settings, for example after a migration. It usually takes from a quarter of an hour to a few hours, and in extreme cases up to 72 hours. During that time some visitors may still see the site from the old server, which is normal.

My domain expired, what now?

Once it expires, a .pl domain goes into quarantine for 30 days. It can still be restored during that time, which involves an extra registry fee. After the quarantine the domain returns to the free pool and anyone can register it. The safest approach is to pay for the domain before the date on the invoice.

What is a domain holder change?

A holder change means moving the domain to another person or company, for example when you sell a project or your company details change. We handle it free of charge, you only submit a request in the client panel.

What is a subdomain and how do I add one?

A subdomain is an extra address inside your own domain, for example shop.yourdomain.com. It is free and you add it yourself in the client panel. There is no single add subdomain button, though: the place depends on what should open under it.

  • A service with another provider (course platform, SaaS store, application): one A or CNAME record in the DNS Zone.
  • A separate WordPress site with us: Hosting → New site, with the subdomain as the address.
  • A site you already have: the Domains tab of that site → Add domain.

If you are not sure which case is yours, write to us and we will point you to the right place.

Email

How do I log in to webmail in a browser?

Webmail is available at poczta.jdm.pl. You log in with your full email address and the mailbox password, with no mail client to install.

How do I set up a mail client?

We support IMAP, POP3 and SMTP with SSL/TLS encryption, so you can set up Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail and mail on your phone. The complete configuration details (server addresses and ports) are in the client panel in the Mail section. The login is always the full email address.

Does email take space away from my website?

No. Every plan has a separate pool of mail storage, independent of the space for websites, from 5 GB on wpMini to 150 GB on wpAgency. A growing mailbox never takes space from your site.

How do I create a mailbox?

In the client panel, in the Mail section. You need an active hosting plan with your own domain connected. Mailboxes cannot be created on the free technical domain (jdmsite.com).

Are mailboxes covered by backups?

Yes, mailboxes are covered by backups just like websites. Even so, we recommend archiving key correspondence and being careful when you delete messages for good.

Payments and invoices

Will I get a VAT invoice?

Yes, we issue VAT invoices for every service. You will find them in the client panel in the Payments section, and you can download them at any time.

When do I pay as a new customer?

For hosting you pay only after the 30-day trial ends, if you decide to stay. Domain registration is paid straight away: the domain is yours from day one and is paid for a full year.

What happens if I miss an invoice due date?

Write to us as soon as you can and we will find a solution together. Watch the dates for domains in particular: once a domain expires it goes into quarantine, and restoring it involves an extra registry fee.

Security

How often are backups made?

Daily, automatically. We keep copies from the last 30 days. You can restore the site to any of those days yourself from the panel, at any time, without waiting for support.

Is SSL included in the price?

Yes, every plan includes a free Let's Encrypt SSL certificate, installed and renewed automatically. No extra fees, no configuration.

Can I use my own paid SSL certificate?

Yes. We do not sell paid certificates ourselves, because from a cryptographic point of view free Let's Encrypt gives the same level of encryption. If you have already bought your own certificate (for example EV or wildcard), we will install it on your account.

How do you protect sites from attacks?

Protection comes in layers: a WAF firewall that blocks common WordPress attacks before they reach the site, DDoS protection, 24/7 monitoring and automatic PHP security updates on our side.

What does full site separation mean?

Every WordPress site of yours runs in its own container, with CPU, RAM, disk and PHP processes fully isolated. On classic shared hosting all the sites on one account share resources and files, while here each one behaves as if it had its own server.

What that means in practice, in the WordPress world:

· A hacked site will not infect the others. Malware injected through a plugin vulnerability on one site has no access to the files or database of another, each one sits in its own box.

· A bad update or a heavy plugin will not slow the other sites down. If one WordPress eats 100% of the CPU (common with badly written importers, backup plugins or some builders), the rest of the sites on your account keep running as before.

· An attack, whether brute-force or DDoS on wp-login, touches only one site. While bots try to crack the admin password of one site, the server queues requests for that site alone, and the others keep answering normally.

· Different PHP versions on different sites. An old client project needs PHP 7.4 while a new store runs on PHP 8.5, and here every site has its own PHP version, with no conflicts and no lowest common denominator.

· Separate logs and staging for every site. Debugging one does not get mixed up with another. You copy staging only for the site the change actually concerns.

· A failure on a single site does not take the whole account down. If one WordPress hits a fatal database error, a broken core update or an over-eager cron, the other sites on your account keep running without a single second of downtime.

Technical

What are PHP workers and why do I need them?

A PHP worker is a single process handling one request to your site at a given moment. More workers means more requests served at once without queuing. That is critical for WooCommerce (cart, checkout, filters) and for LMS sites. Here every site has dedicated workers, while competitors often share 3 to 5 workers across a whole account.

What is staging and what do I use it for?

Staging is a separated copy of your site on its own test environment. You can safely try plugin updates, new theme versions and code changes there before you push them to production. Available from the wpStarter plan.

Is Redis available on every plan?

Redis Cache is available from the wpStarter plan (64 MB). The wpMini plan uses NGINX Cache and OpCache without Redis. Higher plans offer from 128 MB to 1024 MB of Redis. On the Premium plans it starts at 512 MB.

Redis is an object cache that takes load off the database. The biggest difference shows in WooCommerce stores, LMS platforms and sites with a lot of database queries; static blogs usually run perfectly well on NGINX Cache and OpCache alone.

Is data transfer really unlimited?

Yes, every plan comes with unlimited transfer. You never have to worry about traffic, no matter how many visits you get.

Do I get SSH and WP-CLI access?

Yes, full SSH access with key authentication, plus WP-CLI for managing WordPress from the command line. Ideal for developers and for automation.

Can I use cPanel or DirectAdmin?

No. Instead we offer our own panel designed around WordPress: installer, staging, backups, SSL, PHP versions and cache in one place, without the hundreds of options in universal panels that you will never use.

Which PHP versions do you support?

From PHP 7.4 to PHP 8.5 (the latest stable release, with JIT). Each site can run its own PHP version, one on 7.4 and another on 8.5, with no conflicts. Security updates inside a given branch are applied automatically.

Can I change the PHP version myself?

Yes, on your own in the client panel, in the site details, separately for each site. You can also go back to the previous version at any time.

Can I take online payments in my store?

Yes. As a Tpay partner we provide a payment gateway with a flat 1% commission per transaction, with no fixed amount and no monthly service package. Activation is a one off 10 PLN, roughly €2.3. Cards, BLIK, Google Pay, Apple Pay and fast bank transfers are supported, with a ready WooCommerce integration. See the details and the savings calculator →

Does Premium Hosting only work with WooCommerce?

No, Premium Hosting works with any high-traffic WordPress site: WooCommerce stores, LMS systems (LearnDash, LifterLMS), large portals and blogs above 100k unique visits a month. Tuning it for stores also means excellent performance for any demanding WordPress installation.
