What is a domain?

A domain is the unique name that identifies your website online. It is the address people type into a browser to reach you.

How much does registering a domain cost?

The registration price covers the first year. After that the domain has to be renewed, and the renewal price can differ from the registration price. Current rates are in the domain price list.

How long can I register a domain for?

Domains are registered in one year periods. Before the term runs out you get a reminder that it needs renewing, so a domain never expires without warning.

What happens if I do not renew a domain in time?

Once it expires the domain enters a redemption period, during which it can still be recovered, usually for an extra fee. After that it becomes available again and anyone can register it.

Can I change the owner details after registration?

Yes, the registrant details can be updated from the Client Panel. For .pl domains, changing the owner requires an extra procedure set out in the NASK rules.

Can I move a registered domain to another registrar?

Yes, you can move a domain to another registrar at any time using an authinfo code. Keep in mind that a transfer is usually possible only 60 days after registration.
